Dear David & the organising
committee
I would like to express my
gratitude to you all for organising the gathering last Sat. You
could have met without us teachers but chose to include us.
Besides, you even honoured us
with gifts and expressions of appreciation. We, as teachers of
Havelock, couldn't ask for more from any
students/classes/schools! Collectively, we have taught thousands
of students in many schools, we must say that it is must
gratifying to know that all of you have done well and are
positioned to serve and contribute to society & S'pore as a
whole.
I have expressed this a number
of times last Sat... it regretful that Havelock School is not in
existence. If not, you all will be powerful examples to the
existing students in the school as shown by your love for
the school and teachers.
Thanks again one and all! I am
sure all those teachers who were there would say `We are proud
of you and ask that you continue to encourage one another on!
